The above-mentioned three smartphones were unveiled earlier this year at MWC 2017. The most powerful of the three is Nokia 6. The dual-SIM handset has a 5.5-inch Full HD resolution display with 2.5D curved glass coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, along with 3GB/4GB of RAM. On the storage front, Nokia 6 comes with 64GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
HMD Global, the Finnish company that holds exclusive licence to manufacture Nokia-branded mobile phones, is all set to launch a new line-up of Android smartphones in India. The company has started sending out invites for a launch event scheduled to take place on June 13, where it will launch Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones. The invite reads, “Come let’s join hands and welcome the new era of Nokia smartphones.”
kia 6 has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The 4G LTE-capable Nokia 6 comes with Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi as major connectivity options, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone has dual speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor at the front.
On the other hand, Nokia 5 has a 5.2-inch display and sports a 6000-series aluminium build. It comes in four colour variants – Tempered Blue, Copper, Black and Silver. The smartphone has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. For imaging duties, there’s a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
Lastly, Nokia 3 has the same build quality as the Nokia 5 but includes a smaller 5-inch display. The smartphone sports 8MP front and back cameras. Powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, the Nokia 3 has a polycarbonate back and an aluminium frame.
