Eagles Skipper Mikel Obi Confirms Chelsea Exit Plans

Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has confirmed his exit plans from Chelsea as he struggles for his way into new manager Antonio Conte’s plans at the club.
The 29-year old midfielder, who is further down the pecking order following the summer signing of Frenchman N’Golo Kante, was surprisingly left out of the squad for the EFL Cup clash with Premier League champions Leicester City, which ended 4-2 in his side’s favour‎.
John Mikel Obi has a year left on his current deal with Chelsea and can start speaking to other clubs about transfer as early as January.
Speaking on his future, John Mikel Obi said: “When you have a year left, in January you are allowed to talk to other clubs‎ and sign a pre-contract or have an agreement so, yes, I will talk to other clubs because you never know what is going to happen.”
