Saraki Earned N254million But Deposited N77m In Two Days – CCB


The Code of Conduct Bureau, told the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Thursday, that the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, while being Governor of Kwara State, made cash lodgment of N77m in his account in August 2007.

Testifying against the senate President, a Head of intelligence unit of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Mr Samuel Madojemu, said during the said period Saraki’s salary as Governor of Kwara state was only N254,412.25.

He noted that the N77m cash lodgment was made on August 12, 2007.

Madojemu was testifying as the third prosecution witness in the ongoing trial of Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on charges assets declaration breaches.
