Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, the newly appointed Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, expressed his sense of challenge at being named a minister by the Federal Republic of Nigeria.On Monday evening, he gave a speech in Abuja while attending a reception hosted by the APC branch in Osun State and other relevant parties.
The minister pledged to do well under the presidential mandate, adding that he was challenged to be nominated to lead a new ministry.
Oyetola expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for designating him as a minister.Additionally, he thanked the event organizers, adding that the demonstration of unity was inspiring and will motivate him to work even harder for Nigerians.
In order to succeed in the new ministry, the minister said, he would require the collaboration and support of all parties involved.
“I give thanks to the Almighty God for this amazing chance to serve and the Osun people for traveling from all over the state to join me in celebrating.”
He voiced hope that Oyetola will fulfill his new responsibility.The APC’s former interim national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, stated that Oyetola’s selection was honorable and well-deserved for the Osun people.
