Insecurity: CAN applauds military actions in the North East

The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Borno State, Most Reverend Dr. John Bogna Bakeni, praised the military on Wednesday for their unwavering efforts to restore peace and normalcy to the North East region.

He presented the award when he paid a visit to Major General Gold Chibuisi, Theatre Commander (TC) Joint Task Force North East (NE) Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), at the Theatre Command Headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno State.

During the tour, the Chairman stated that the purpose of the visit was to familiarize him with the new OPHK Command and to offer prayers in support of the ongoing military operations.

Furthermore, the spiritual father informed the TC of the organization’s dedication to divine intercession on behalf of the soldiers.

Major General Chibuisi thanked the association for her dedication and spiritual support to OPHK in his remarks.

He also assured them of the Theatre’s ongoing assistance, collaboration, and partnership aimed at enhancing the region’s return to normalcy.
