NDLEA begins looking for a drug dealer in Lekki.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has begun a manhunt for Sowunmi Kayode, a prominent drug dealer out of Lekki, Lagos. Kayode is currently at large after running over an NDLEA officer with his fancy automobile in an attempt to elude capture when agents searched his home last weekend.
The sought drug dealer’s home at 2/3 Adetola Ayeni Close, Lekki, Lagos, was stormed by anti-narcotics officials of the NDLEA on Friday, August 18, for a search and potential arrest due to solid intelligence that he was dealing in illicit drugs there.
The development was announced in a statement on Wednesday by Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy.”He did not enter the house when the operatives entered his complex, but he did come back while his apartment was being searched.
In a stunning turn of events, he put his car in reverse gear as soon as he pulled into the property and saw NDLEA agents, knocked down one of the officers, and ripped down his gate before crashing it through the fence of the neighboring complex.
The speed of his car also caused the concrete wall of his neighbor’s compound to collapse, and he jumped out of the car to flee. But after a thorough search of his flat, 10.5 kg of Loud were found, and the person who was pushed down had many injuries all over his body, including compound fractures on both of his legs, for which he is presently receiving treatment at a hospital, according to Babafemi.
In response to the unwelcome development, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (retd.), Chairman of the NDLEA, has ordered the agency’s operational assets to be deployed appropriately in order to flush out the sought suspect from his hiding place.
Marwa also gave the injured officer permission to receive sufficient medical attention so that he might recover as quickly as possible.Writing Tools
