Keyamo is a fiery personality who requires a more measured approach as a minister – Rafsanjani

Auwal Rafsanjani, Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), has recommended Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo to manage the ministry with moderation.

Keyamo, according to the CISLAC boss, is a hothead, but the ministry he leads requires someone with a cool head.

Rafsanjani stated this in an interview with Channels TV’s Politics Today.

He stated that the Aviation Ministry required a manager with a strong personality and urged Keyamo to demonstrate one in order to succeed.

“Looking at the way and manner in which my friend and former comrade, Festus Keyamo, behaves, he can even cause chaos.” “I think they should have given him something less controversial,” remarked Rafsanjani.

“In their report on the last election, the European Union cited Keyamo’s character as someone whose actions and utterances were undemocratic.”

“He needs to temper his approach. He has a volatile temper. It is not the time for character assassination. This is a serious ministry that requires someone with a clear head.”
