Seyi Awolowo, a Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, has said that the country is upset with him.

This follows his’misogynistic’ comment about opening a miscellaneous account for his son to have sex with other people’s daughters.

The comment prompted fury on social media, with many criticising the housemate.

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency also blasted the reality star’s remarks on its official X, formerly known as Twitter. It is stated that “such remarks perpetuate harmful attitudes and contribute to a culture of violence and abuse.”

On Sunday, Seyi told a fellow housemate, Venita, that Nigeria as a nation is profoundly disappointed in him because of his words regarding women.

He also mentioned that he is one of the six persons who keep the show running and that he may be the number one person.

“The country is angry with me,” he remarked. I can’t even comprehend what my team is going through right now in terms of damage control.

“So technically, I am one of the six people who are holding the show.”
