Numerous accidents in Ogun result in one death and three injuries.

Three others were injured to varied degrees and one person lost his life in incidents that happened on Sunday and Monday at various locations along the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway.
According to information obtained by Punch Metro, the first accident happened at the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway’s Conoil sector, and the second accident occured in the expressway’s Makun section.Ismail Akinola, an eyewitness who saw the second collision, stated that the multiple crash was caused by the drivers’ inattentiveness.
“What transpired was that the truck transporting the container attempted to change lanes without considering the tipper car parked next to it,” he explained. When the tipper saw the truck, he attempted to stop it, but it was too late, and this led to many collisions. I believe it is because the drivers are not paying attention.
The Federal Road Safety Corps’ Florence Okpe, the public relations officer for the Ogun State Command, confirmed the incidents and stated that one person had died and three others had been injured in various incidents involving seven people on the motorway.
Okpe stated, “I can certify that speeding and a lack of control caused an accident on the Conoil axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway that resulted in one fatality. Yesterday at around 18:25, a Man-diesel truck with the licence plate LSR472XA was involved in an accident.Additionally, a collision involving three cars happened at the Makun section of the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, injuring three people.
