Balogun leaves Arsenal for Monaco in a £34 million transaction.

Folarin Balogun, an attacker for Arsenal, just joined Monaco in Ligue 1 following a productive campaign at Stade de Reims, where he scored 22 goals.
The French squad has inked a five-year contract with the youthful striker. Balogun is moving to Monaco for €40 million (£34.4 million), and as part of the deal, Arsenal has a 17.5% sell-on clause.
After returning from his loan stint at Reims, Balogun, who has been with Arsenal since he was ten years old, did not play in any league games for the Gunners this season.
With Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, Kai Havertz, and Leandro Trossard ahead of him in the pecking order, Balogun had fierce competition for a starting position in the Arsenal forward line.
