FG will shut down MMIA on October 1.
All international airlines are required to leave the Murtala Mohammed International Airport as of October 1, 2023, per the directive of Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
He explained that this was done to make space for comprehensive airport repair.The minister made these remarks while on a visit of Lagos’ international airports with Mr. Kabir Yusuf Mohammed, Managing Director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.
