Portable performs at the NBA’s ‘Unbarred’ music event in Abuja.

Some attorneys staged a walkout at the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) concert titled ‘Unbarred’ when the famed street singer, Habeeb Olalomi, well known as Portable, stepped on stage as a guest musician.

The incident occurred early Thursday at the Velodrome of the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the country’s capital, where some legal practitioners enjoyed the vibes as they danced to the performance of the ‘Zah Zuh’ crooner.

The NBA annual conference, which began on Sunday, was themed “Getting it Right and Charting the Course for Nigeria’s Nation Building.”

President Bola Tinubu opened the conference, urging participants to be brave in their efforts to make Nigeria a great nation.

The NBA President, Yakubu Maikyau, announced Portable to the stage as part of the schedule to unwind with superb Nigerian music, but although some lawyers were upset by his attendance, others were overwhelmed with tremendous joy.

Portable was seen climbing the poles to entertain the barristers in the early hours of Thursday in a viral video.
