P-square’s Peter Okoye Slams GTBANK, Access Bank, And Polaris Bank

Mr P, Peter Okoye, has taken a strong stance against a number of Nigerian commercial institutions, including Access Bank, Guarantee Trust Bank, and Polaris Bank. This comes after it was brought to his attention that someone had used his name to open accounts with these banks.

Expressing serious concern, Mr P has highlighted apprehensions regarding the potential exploitation of these accounts by the account holder to deceive unwary individuals who might erroneously believe they are linked with the well-known ‘Mr P’. Given the great notoriety of his brand, Mr P finds it strange that prestigious institutions such as banks would allow accounts to be opened in his name.

Mr P objects to the requirement for biometric data and a national identity number when opening an account with any bank in Nigeria. He has raised an excellent point about how the individual in issue was able to open these accounts while failing to meet these basic requirements.

Mr P has taken matters into his own hands and hired a legal team to handle this problem. He has made it clear that he intends to sue the banks involved for their role in allowing these accounts to be opened in his name.

“Enough is Enough!!!” he declares.
It’s either an inside job or it’s not! I have a name to defend here and some innocent victims to save! So brace yourself for me and my legal team!
How can @polarisbankltd allow someone to open an account in the name of “PETER PSQUARE OKOYE” and @myaccessbank allow someone to open an account in the name of “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” without valid means of identification, biometrics, BVN, verified address, or even utility bill to correspond with the account owner’s address?
They are now exploiting my name to defraud unsuspecting people! I’m suing for monetary damages and calling them out! Following each other! Take note, @officialefcc! Enough already!

Even @gtbank has a customer going by the name “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” who is scamming others.
It is unfortunate and frustrating that our financial institutions are untrustworthy. 🚩 What is the purpose of BVN and NINS in the first place? We’re in huge trouble in Nigeria!”

In essence, Peter Okoye, alias Mr P, has conveyed his displeasure with the aforementioned institutions due to their affiliation with the unauthorised use of his name for account opening. He is adamant about taking legal action against these organisations and holding them accountable for their activities.
