The Los Angeles Sports Group has announced a nighttime detour to repair truck barriers at National Stadium.

During the detour, motorists will have access to alternate routes, according to him.
The Lagos State Government has planned a traffic diversion on Friday and Saturday evenings (September 1 and 2) from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to fix the recently built truck barrier at the National Stadium Bridge.
Abdulhafiz Toriola, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, stated this in a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday.
He stated that the newly erected truck barrier along Funsho Williams Avenue near the National Stadium Bridge had just been destroyed.
During the detour, motorists will have access to alternate routes, according to him.
“Motorists from Eko Bridge/Constain/Iponri will be diverted to the service lane from Alaka via National Stadium gate to link Barracks or Alhaji Masha Road to continue their journeys.”
“Motorists travelling from Eko Bridge via Costain and those travelling from Apapa Road via Iponri will use Iponri Estate road to connect Bode Thomas via Adeniran Ogunsanya to Shitta Roundabout.”
“Motorists are urged to be patient as the bridge will be closed briefly at night as part of a traffic management strategy to prevent further accidents and fatalities,” he said.
