Tinubu names 32-year-old Halilu as the CEO of NASENI.

President Bola Tinubu dismissed Dr. Bashir Gwandu, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, on Friday.

Khalil Suleiman Halilu was then appointed, according to the Presidency.By virtue of this appointment, Khalil Suleiman Halilu will carry out the relevant provisions of the NASENI Act, 2014 for a first term of five years.”Mr. Halilu, 32, is anticipated to contribute his considerable expertise as a technological specialist and inventor to this crucial new national job./”Dr Bashir Gwandu’s position as NASENI’s EVC and CEO is officially terminated. As per the President’s directive, this appointment is effective immediately.

Halilu founded the business and is an investor.The two inventions he is most renowned for are The CANs, an eco-friendly technology centre, and Zabe, an election monitoring tool.
