After 16 years of marriage, Nollywood star Bolanle Ninalowo has announced his divorce from his wife.

He admits that the split is unpleasant, but it is vital for the future.

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has declared that he and his wife Bunmi are divorcing after 16 years of marriage.

The actor, better known as Nino B, recognised the end of his marriage in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. He described his current stage of life as “sad but necessary.” The post’s comment section was disabled because he wanted privacy at this time.

“My wife and I have decided to go our separate ways and are on our way to an irreconcilable marriage dissolution,” he captioned the photo. Please respect our privacy and pray for us as we heal and go forward with our own lives while working together to care for what we love most, our children! God bless everyone.”

Nino poured his heart out in the lengthy description, realising the impact their decisions will have on himself and his children. He also stated that he strove hard to avoid this, but divorce has become the only peaceful resolution.

“Finally, I accept the reality of the End of a Road!” he exclaimed. A sad truth that allows for and encourages optimism for a happier and more meaningful future! A sad reality for my lovely and adorable children, but one that is vital for a happy and loving future. A tragic truth that I prayed, cherished, and worked relentlessly to avoid for the sake of everybody.”

Moving on, he accepted defeat, telling himself that everyone’s deeds, good or bad, would always catch up with them. Nino also stated that he would never want to be separated from the children he adores. Unfortunately, his worst nightmare has come true.

“May God help me and reward me with all I truly deserve, or punish me for all I have done wrong,” he says. We shall all have to live with the consequences of our acts in the end. It’s sad, but it’s true! Now I must do and be better for the sake of the same children I worked so hard to keep together.”

In November 2022, the actor claimed that his infidelity forced him and his wife to re-start their marriage. He said that he had cheated on her several times and had to retake his marriage in order to keep her.

Bunmi, his separated wife, has not commented on the breakup and has removed her Instagram account.
