Boniface has been nominated for Bundesliga Rookie of the Month.

Victor Boniface, a Nigerian striker, has been nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for August.

The Bayern Leverkusen star was nominated with Xavi Simon of Leipzig and Noah Atubolu of Freiburg, who is also a Nigerian-born custodian.

Boniface has been outstanding for Bayern Leverkusen since joining this summer from Belgian Pro League Union St.Gilliose.

In two appearances for Bayern Leverkusen this month, the 22-year-old has two goals and one assist.

Boniface was recently called up to the Super Eagles ahead of their AFCON qualification against Sao Tome and Principe in 2023.
