Ganduje’s son’s petition against NNPP is dismissed by the tribunal

The petition, which was filed by Muhammad Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress, challenged the election results of Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the Rimin Gado/Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/ Federal House of Representatives held on March 25, 2023.

The three-member panel of judges dismissed the petition due to lack of merit, but they also claimed that the petitioner had not provided enough evidence to support the allegations made during the election process.

As a result, the petitioner was fined N200,000 by the tribunal, which was to be paid to each respondent individually.
