Emmanuel Dennis, a Nottingham Forest striker, is said to have signed a deadline-day deal to Turkish League side Başakşehir.

Fabrizio Romano, a renowned transfer journalist, stated that the Super Eagles forward is likely to sign paper papers to join the Istanbul side on loan with no option to buy.

Former Watford and Club Brugge man has recently been connected with Adana Demirspor but has decided to stay at Basaksehir.

Dennis was left out of the squad and has slid down the pecking order at the City Ground, having not played a single minute for Forest this season.

Instead, head coach Steve Cook has chosen to start Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood, and Anthony Elanga ahead of him.

The 25-year-old joined Forest from Watford after contributing 16 goals – 10 goals and 6 assists – for Watford but fell short of expectations at Forest.
