Jamila Ibrahim is proposed by Tinubu as the Minister of Youth.

Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim and Mr. Ayodele Olawande have been nominated by President Bola Tinubu as the ministry’s Minister of Youth and Minister of State, respectively.
Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s special adviser on media and publicity, said this on Sunday and mentioned that the Nigerian Senate must still confirm the fresh nominations.
“President Bola Tinubu has approved the nomination of Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim to serve as the Minister of Youth, pending her confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
Young doctor Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim most recently held the position of president of the Progressive Young Women Forum (PYWF). She has also worked as the Kwara State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“Mr. Ayodele Olawande is a youth leader in the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), which is currently in power. He is an expert in community development. From 2019 through 2023, he most recently worked as the President’s Special Adviser on Innovation.
As they carry out their responsibilities, “President Tinubu charges the aforementioned nominees to consistently reflect the dynamism, innovative zeal, and unyielding productivity that are synonymous with the young people of Nigeria.”
