Surprise appearance by Davido at SDC’s Palmwine Fest in London

At the London concert for Show Dem Camp, Nigerian megastar Davido shocked a fan.

Show Dem Camp (SDC) is an accomplished musical ensemble that has made significant contributions to alternative and hip-hop music in Nigeria.

Show Dem Camp presented the London installment of their Palmwine Fest performance on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the KOKO in Camden.

They astounded fans with a collection of their great songs that covers the four Palm Wine Music albums and combines Highlife, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, and a number of other genres to create an outstanding brand of music that has gained them millions of listeners.

Ladipoe, a well-known Nigerian hip-hop artist who has worked with SDC on multiple occasions, performed at the concert and wowed the audience. The music of Nigerian Neo-Highlife ensemble Cavemen also enthralled audiences.

The surprise performance of the evening came from African megastar Davido, who also sang his top-charting single “Unavailable” and the song “Na Money,” a collaboration with Cavemen and Angelique Kidjo off his record-breaking fourth album “Timeless.”
