There is panic in Imo when militants kill 8 soldiers and police officers and burn their bodies.

The attack left no security personnel alive.

In Imo State, armed individuals have slain no less than eight security personnel, including soldiers, police officers, and members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

According to ThePunch, the incident took place early on Tuesday, September 18, 2023, in the Umualumaku hamlet of the state’s Ehime Mbano Local Government Area.

According to reports, the security officers who were in two security vehicles were attacked and set ablaze by their assailants.

The attack left no security personnel alive.

The publication was informed that reinforcement squads had been dispatched to the crime scene by an unnamed security official.

The newspaper was also informed by a local who did not want his identity published for security reasons that he saw the security officers before they were set ablaze.

He claimed that the incident had caused uncertainty in the neighbourhood.
